Vai! Dance and Art was founded in 2011 and has since then offered courses, shows, workshops and a social context, all built around interest in and love to the Brazilian dances. Spectacular Samba, rich in traditions Afro and tough Baile funk are some of the styles that Vai! are profiled with but also folkloric dances as Frevo and more modern styles like Axé. Over the years, Vai! invited guest teachers from Brazil, performed at many shows around Skåne, participated in Samba SM and annually showed up in Copenhagen Carnival (see picture). The focus of Vai! is dancing pleasure. Vai! means Go! in Portuguese.
